Beaune is the capital of the wine-producing region of Burgundy as well as the most extensive communal AOC appellation in the Côte d’Or. Most of the vineyards are located on pronounced slopes.

Producer

The simple Beaune appellation vineyards lie at the bottom of the hill facing east to the south over limestone and clay soils. 

Serving

This wine has great ageing potential but can also be enjoyed right away! Use a decanter if you want to drink it young. 

The Nose

A lightly smoky, earthy nose with a touch of dried herbs and wild berries.

Tasting Notes

Silky, Beaune smooth, with more strawberry and earthy mushroom notes and a soft, inviting finish. Ready to drink.

Restaurant: Pan fried veil sweet bread.

Home: Red meats & BBQ chicken.
