Variety
Chenin Blanc makes lithe, dry summer whites and sparkling wines.
Producer
Domaine des Hardières is made up of 23 hectares of vines, north of Layon. Overlooking the Layon, a tributary of the Loire, the estate and its vineyard benefit from morning mist and sunny afternoons.
Representing an average age of 28 years old, the vine is grown according to green practices, respecting the environment, soil and terroir.

The Nose
Fresh citrus fruit, classic chenin stone fruit (white peach, apricots and canned pears), hint of white florals and a back bone of warm schisty (soil) underscore.

Well ripened stone fruits mimic that of the nose, fresh and lively accents. More apricots and peaches, followed by a hint of vanilla and sweet spices. With a little bit of fun toasty character, brioche and yoghurt.
